So I pre ordered Black Ops 3 and I was super excited. I love the Call of Duty series and yes (I like Advanced Warfare.) So when I got the beta it put a smile on my face because it reminded me of my favorite COD which is Black Ops 2 but with a few problems!
My Review: So far in beta Black Ops 3 is incredible it is smooth with occasional server lag which is pretty common for a multiplayer beta. The controls fell perfect and I had no problems with game lag at all. I use a scuf controller (which a review will be coming soon on that) and all of the controls especially the new boost feature felt super smooth and easily controllable. Also the free running controls take some getting used to but once you master them you can easily flank enemies. The maps were big enough for the 16 players playing and had great spots for flanks and free running felt great and fluid while traversing the maps. The guns in this game are well balance even though some can use a nerf but for the most part they felt smooth with controllable recoil. The paintshop mode is a great way to eliminate DLC camos and the camos were crisp and felt real on the gun. Now on to the specialists. The specialist are well balanced and not to OP which is good and I felt that killing an enemy with a specialist was like getting an ordinary kill. My only problem is at times I will get my specialist then get killed instantly and won’t have it again until another round which was upsetting and I hope they can fix that. Now let’s get on to my biggest problems. First head glitches are terrible too many head glitch spots were being used and I often got killed by a head glitch which is frustrating. Next in TDM the spawns can be bad at times when I found myself being killed by enemies who spawned in behind me. Now my biggest problem is a concussion type grenade that when detonated will turn you whole screen hazy in which you can barely see or move and found myself frustrated when I was playing domination and people spammed those on the capture point making it almost impossible to get kills and many people mixed those with head glitches which was terrible.
Overall Black Ops 3 beta was fun and I love how it feels like Black Ops 2 but the only changes should be head glitches, some gun nerfs, TDM spawns, and those hazy concussion grenades!
